The Safescan 2985-SC Mixed-Denomination Bill Counter and Sorter is the ultimate currency processing tool, offering professional-grade mixed-bill counting, sorting and counterfeit detection. Featuring a dual-pocket design and dual CIS technology, the 2985-SC is ideal for non-stop, error-free counting and proven accurate bill authentication for multiple currencies.

Count, Sort and Verify Mixed Bills: The 2985-SC’s hopper can hold 500 bills, and it can accurately count up to 1200 bills per minute. The machine’s front-loading design allows you to keep adding bills while it runs, allowing for continuous counting.

The 2985-SC is equipped with an additional stacker, known as the reject pocket, where it automatically places all unrecognized, damaged, or suspicious bills. The reject pocket is also used in the SORT, FACE and ORIENT modes to sort a mixed stack of bills into the same denomination and orientation.

Protect Your Business: The 2985-SC employs the latest counterfeit detection technology to authenticate ten security features built into modern currencies - ultraviolet, magnetic ink, metallic thread, multi-magnetic (USD only), infrared, image, serial number, size and thickness. When the 2985-SC identifies a suspicious bill, it will send the bill to the reject pocket and continue counting without interruption.

Time-Saving Features: Navigating the user interface of the 2985-SC is easy thanks to its large, full color touch screen. Activate the ADD function and the 2985-SC will automatically track the total across multiple counts. Use the BATCH function to create stacks of bills based on quantity or value. Just enter the desired number of bills or value, and the 2985-SC will automatically pause each time it reaches that number.

Detailed Reporting: The 2985-SC can print your counting results with the TP-230 Report Printer (sold separately) or export them to a smartphone or PC running the free Safescan App for Android, iOS and Windows. Connect your 2985-SC to your phone via Bluetooth (or to a PC via USB cable) to review your count results, approve counts, and share them with your organization or cash management software.
