Count and Sort Mixed Bills: The 2985-SX’s hopper can hold 500 bills, and it's three adjustable speeds provide you with maximum counting flexibility, reliability and efficiency - 800, 1000, or 1200 bills per minute. The machine’s front-loading design allows you to keep adding bills while it runs, allowing for continuous counting.
The 2985-SX is equipped with an additional stacker, known as the reject pocket, where it automatically places all unrecognized, damaged, or suspicious bills. After your count you can view a detailed report to see why a particular bill was rejected. The reject pocket is also used in the SORT, FACE and ORIENT modes to sort a mixed stack of bills into the same denomination and orientation.
Detect Counterfeits: The 2985-SX uses the latest counterfeit detection technology to authenticate the seven security features built into modern currencies - ultraviolet (UV), magnetic ink (MG), metallic thread (MT), infrared (IR), image (WM), size and thickness (DD). When the 2985-SX identifies a suspicious bill, it will send the bill to the reject pocket and continue counting without interruption.
Time-Saving Features: Navigating the user interface of the 2985-SX is easy thanks to its high resolution, full color touch screen display. Press the ADD button and the 2985-SX will automatically track the total count across multiple runs. Press BATCH, enter the desired number of bills, and the 2985-SX will automatically pause each time it reaches that number. With the value-mix feature you can manually set a desired value, and the machine counts bills until that value is reached.
Thanks to its integrated double CIS sensors, the 2985-SX is able to read the serial number on every bill, regardless of which orientation the bills are inserted. Serial number recording is useful for tracking and audit trails.
Detailed Reporting: The 2985-SX can print your counting results to the TP-230 Report Printer (sold separately) or export them to a PC running the included Safescan Money Counting Software. Connect your 2985-SX to a PC with the included USB cable and save your counting results and recorded serial numbers with the push of a button.
