Count Mixed Bills: Save time with the 2885-S’s 500 bill hopper and up to 1200 bills per minute counting speed. The machines front-loading hopper allows you to keep adding bills while it runs, for non-stop counting. The 2885-S will automatically keep track of the number and value of bills counted for each denomination, as well as the total value counted.
Counterfeit Detection: The 2885-S uses state of the art counterfeit detection technology to authenticate the seven security features built into modern currencies - ultraviolet (UV), magnetic ink (MG), metallic thread (MT), infrared (IR), image (WM), size and thickness (DD). If a suspicious bill is detected, the 2885-S will stop counting and emit an audio and visual allert. Remove the suspect bill from the stacker and press start to resume the count.
Time-Saving Features: Navigating the different features of the 2885-S is simple thanks to its high resolution, full color touch screen display. Press the ADD button and the 2885-S will automatically add the total bill count and value across consecutive counts. Press BATCH, enter the desired number of bills, and the 2885-S will automatically stop each time it counts out that number.
Detailed Reporting: To help with your record keeping, the 2885-S can print your counting results to the TP-230 Report Printer (sold separately) or export them to a PC running the included Safescan Money Counting Software. Connect your 2885-S to a PC with the included USB cable and save your counting results with just the push of a button.
