The Cassida 5520 Bill Counter provides business-grade currency counting and counterfeit detection. The 5520's ValuCount feature allows you to select the denomination you're counting and the machine will provide a total value of the bills counted. Pair this with the Add function and keep a running total for fast and easy till counts.
The 5520 uses infrared detectors to ensure each count is accurate with no double bills, half notes or chain notes passing through. If an issue with a bill is detected, the machine stops counting, beeps and displays an error message on the screen.
While counting, the 5520 checks for counterfeit notes with ultraviolet (UV) sensors to ensure the money being counted is authentic. For added security, the UV/MG model adds magnetic ink (MG) detection sensors. If a suspicious bill is detected, the 5520 will stop counting and dispense the suspicious bill to the stacker for removal and closer inspection.
